The array of technology available has been designed to increase safety, reduce accidents and optimise your overall driving experience. 

After all the safety features have been covered, there are also a number of creature comforts available in many new vehicles that just make life easy.

The internet is everywhere. Even in your car. If you can operate a smartphone, you need not worry about navigating the technology in new cars. Many will now have ‘hot spot’ ability, to use the data from your mobile phone to access GPS, internet radio and live traffic updates.

These systems are run using a toggle/mouse or voice activation.

Cruise control makes long distance motoring a pleasure. Cruise control has now evolved in many cars to include radar control, where your car will sense other traffic and decrease speed for safety and increase to the set limit once the coast in clear.

The same goes for auto high beam control. You car may be able to sense vehicles approaching from 600 metres away and dip your lights from full, or sense when you are approaching another vehicle from behind, to avoid flooding their rear view mirror with light.

Back to the internet. There is so much information available about cars online, that dealers are finding most people have their minds 90% made up when they come to test drive.
