Dunedin boasts some of the finest architecture in New Zealand.  Dunedin railway station is one of the most photographed buildings in New Zealand.

If you love chocolate a tour of the Cadbury Chocolate factory will be an opportunity to purchase all your favourite chocolates.

Beer lovers can do an informative tour of Speights Brewery followed by some sampling of their products.

The Octagon, in the centre of Dunedin, has a wonderful Art Gallery, Theatre and great restaurants.

The Botanic Garden is located at the northern end of the city and Baldwin Street, considered to be the world’s steepest residential street, is a short drive from the gardens.

For nature lovers a trip out to see the Royal Albatross Colony is a “must see”. Day tours often include a visit to view the Yellow eyed penguins.

Take a trip out the peninsular to Portobello. You can take the “high” road one way via Larnach Castle and return on the “low” road.

The scenic Taieri Gorge rail journey departs from Dunedin rail station and takes visitors out to Middlemarch, the beginning or end of cyclist’s trips on the Otago rail trail.
