Great video but… I would reshoot it with water in the background or mountains with ski shots eg Auckland’s beautiful waterfront, include sailing, islands, visuals of fabulous holiday locations on Waiheke for example. Its all about getting the dream life after all!

Great idea, but I feel that the music is too ‘frenetic’ and it would be more relaxing for potential GrownUp members to a have softer, slower background playing.

I’d like to see more videos on particular topics.
May I suggest an item where contacts could be made for ” travel mates ” ? I wasbtalkingntoday with a friend who still has her husband to go on holiday with. Since becoming a widow I have continued to travel, but as I get older I find I really would appreciate there being a friend with me. Not least, because ‘single supplement’ charges are high and sometimes hard to find. I asked a travel agent to keep an eye out for a suitable ‘companion, but have never been contacted.
Could you speak a bit slower, as a great many of us have hearing problems, amongst many other disabilities. Were all getting on in years, and many of my grownup friends and myself could not fully understand what you said.

I agree about the background music. I also think that for the same reasons the pitch of the voice is a bit low. Those of us with oldish ears find that low frequencies are harder to hear. Maybe use a woman’s voice rather than a guy’s? Other than that presentation and content are great. Good luck.

Hello , yes the video was great, and yes the music detracts from the message. Sometimes I feel there is a little too much advertising, when the whole point of grown ups I feel is the support we should get from others in discussion threads and hopefully to ctach up with a friend.I would say just chose a topic to discuss each week, and go frfom there, for example the rattled city of Christchurch, a lot can be said about this city at the moment.
Why, why, why, why do you have that infernal “music” behind the speaker. It does NOT enhance the message and gets in the way. Get rid of it.
I think it’s a great way to introduce people to Grownups. Great stuff keep it up!!
Sorry, but the voice is too fuzzy, maybe the speaker should be nearer the mic?

Music in background distracting making Richard’s voice unclear at times. Why use the MCG as example – doesn’t NZ have an equivalent? Otherwise good concept in trying to get more Members.
