How high can a tsunami get?
Most tsunamis cause the sea to rise no more than 10 feet (3 meters). The Indian Ocean tsunami caused waves as high as 30 feet (9 meters) in some places, according to news reports. In other places witnesses described a rapid surging of the ocean. Flooding can extend inland by a thousand feet (300 meters) or more.

Normally, there are 18 pairs of ribs in the horse, but a nineteenth rib on one side or both is not considered all that rare. Eight pairs of ribs are known as true ribs. They join the segments of the sternum or breastbone. The other 10 are known as floating ribs–merely overlapping and being attached to each other.
Can you kill bacteria by freezing?
