Green tea is derived from the plant Camellia sinensis, and the first ones to discover this wonderful tea was Chinese emperor around 4,000 years ago. From there on it has been a staple of their culture especially in social gatherings. A few years later, other nations also adopted the intake of tea because of its appealing taste and relaxing effect.
