Marketing Specialist – GrownUps opportunity

Postcard 3GrownUps is growing up and our team is getting bigger! We’re looking for a Marketing Specialist to join us in our Parnell office, which is based in the hub of the creative quarter, amongst many other growing businesses and agencies, currently located at The Icehouse.

We are a 100% New Zealand owned leading lifestyle website and social club for over 50 year olds maintained via advertising and sponsorship and are embarking on a strong growth phase.

As our Marketing Specialist you’ll be working closely with our agencies with the goal to increase traffic to the GrownUps website and build our membership base. You’ll also be working with our editor to put new content onto the website and send out our newsletters. One of your key responsibilities will be thinking up new and creative promotions and competitions and securing sponsors for these, using your knowledge of social media channels to get the most engagement from current and prospective members – plus much more!

Team fit, innovation, creative flare, personal drive and being digitally savvy are key for us, so we are open minded to your background. You might be a marketing graduate who’s done an internship or freelance work and you can showcase your skills and have the confidence to be thrown in the deep end.

Or you might be a marketer with a couple of years’ experience who is ready to own their next role and be the expert to drive our online activity. It’ll be important for you to showcase what you can do in your application, maybe include some portfolio examples so we can check out your stuff.

The Icehouse is a really fantastic place to work, you can bring your dog to work* and we also offer great benefits including free health insurance, gym subsidies, and more. For more information or to apply please email careers@grownups.co.nz,  Attn: Marketing Role.
