The ability to read sheet music, and play an instrument is good for your mind, and your soul. Music can be soothing, uplifting and evocative.
Julian Cianciolo has created what he calls, ‘a helpful guide created by an unqualified individual,’ to make sense of sheet music. We’re not sure he has a promising career ahead as a music teacher (!), but as one who did spent a long time as a child learning music, it jogged some long-disused parts of my brain and made me smile.

As musician of many years this did make me smile and that’s a good thing because reading music is mostly a serious business. Good to see some fun.
