Fun Fact #1
Caligula is actually a nickname given to the Roman Emperor as a child.
When the respected general Germanicus brought his son Gaius on campaign, the child wore scaled down soldier's footwear, or caligae. Either affectionately or mockingly, Germanicus' troops called the boy "Caligula", meaning "Little Soldier's Boots".
Fun Fact #2
Apparently there is a pipeline in the Veltines-Arena in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, that delivers beer to local bars along a 5km stretch.
The arena has beer storage areas under the bars that hold up to 52,000 liters of ice-cold brew. Different channels are then used to take the beer to it's drinkers, at a rate of 14 liters per minute.
