Fun Fact #1

While the human brain is quite remarkable one thing it cannot do is invent the image of people. So the "strangers" that you meet in dreams actually have the faces of people who you've once seen in your real life but have forgotten. For example, a childhood postman or dairy store owner.

Fun Fact #2

Henry Robert Pearce was an Australian-Canadian rower, who competed in the amateur sculling championships in 1927, 1928, and 1929 and won each year.

Pearce won all his races with incredible ease, beating his competitors by up to 12 lengths. In a quarter final, a family of ducks crossed his line so he stopped momentarily to let the ducks pass… and still won by 20 lengths to break the course records.
