I have had both hips replaced twice first at 55 secondly at 75 years of age I wore the first lot out
All the advice given is sensible however it is very essential to work through
the pain don’t make excuses to sit or lie and do nothing as you will make no progress
The sooner the hips settles in the better the results are. Weight bearing is essential to a good outcome
Don’t fall in love with your crutches ,walk a little further each day set goals ,be positive, effort will result in a good recovery quite quickly
I am still very mobile even with osteo arthritis at 83
