I worry. I always have. Recently, nothing is helping me stop worrying. I can’t concentrate. My tummy
feels like there are lions fighting in it. My head feels like it is full of loud, buzzing bees. My heart beats
fast. My hands get sweaty.
What can I do?

I’ll start by asking, is this worry worth worrying about?
If you have lots of worries like me, the ideas in this story can help you work through your worries too.
We got this!

Becky Overeem grew up as the eldest of five adopted children. Born in Auckland, she spent part of her childhood living in Fiji and her teenage years in the Solomon Islands. At 18, she returned to New Zealand to attend Teachers College, where she met her husband, Yaron. When her daughters, Chloe and Sophie, were in high school, Becky trained as a school chaplain.
