About Out in the Bay
A brilliant showcase of Aotearoa New Zealand’s coastal wildlife from the seabirds above to life beneath the waves.
Out in the bay, a calm morning reveals a coastal world of seabirds, seals, jellyfish and shoals of fish. As the day dramatically unfolds into a wild coastal storm, life above and below the water continues in fascinating ways.
A stunning companion to At Home on the Farm. The beautiful, atmospheric full-page spreads will make the reader feel part of the scene, with Ned Barraud’s detailed, naturalistic illustrations.
