Green Breakfast Smoothie

avo-smoothieHere’s a quick breakfast idea. During the warmer months, a smoothie is a fast and healthy option for a snack or light meal. We prepared this one in a Nutribullet, but you can use your usual blender just as easily.

It serves two and will fill you up nicely, while providing a serving of good fats, fibre, vitamins and a great taste.

You will need:

1 ripe avocado

1 pear

1 kiwifruit (gold or green)

1/2 cup almond and coconut milk

1/4 cup of muesli (optional)

Blitz all the ingredients with a couple of ice cubes and add more almond/coconut milk if desired. Serve immediately.
