My husband was red/green colour blind. This put paid to his having a job in the Telephone industry as these colours were important. I read that only males inherit this through their mothers. So far in two more generations it has not been passed on. The hereditary side is peculiar as our daughters would have to carry the gene to pass it on. Is this correct,or could my son have passed it on to his daughters who have not borne children ?
