Getting On, the darkly funny comedy from HBO is back for another season, bringing with it the dysfunctional staffers of Billy Barnes Geriatric Ward. This year, the Nurses and Doctors of the ward face many stressful yet wickedly hilarious challenges. From dealing with complicated research projects to fighting for long-overdue pay rises, there is never a dull moment at Billy Barnes.
Getting On continues to introduce real world issues into its black comedy repertoire and stars Emmy nominated Niecy Nash alongside Laurie Metcalf and Alex Borstein.

When New York real estate magnate Damian Hayes is diagnosed with terminal cancer, he is approached in secret by the mysterious Dr. Albright. The doctor offers him a chance to continue living thanks to a cutting edge procedure called “shedding”, which allows Albright to transfer Damian’s consciousness into a new body. The only catch is that due to the program’s secrecy, Damian must sever all ties to his former life, including his only daughter Claire. Faced with certain death, Damian chooses a new lease on life and goes through with the procedure. Upon his release, Damian immediately sets about enjoying the pleasures of a younger man.

It seems like a dream come true until he is approached by a woman, Madeleine, who appears to know him. She calls him Mark and accuses him of abandoning her and her daughter. Shaken, Damian confronts Dr. Albright and it is revealed that his new body was not grown fresh for him, but rather purchased from Madeleine’s husband Mark. The chase begins, one that will make Damian regret every bit of his transformation.

The new season of the animated series Guess How Much I Love You – The Adventures of Little Nutbrown Hare. Always ready to play and laugh, Little Nutbrown Hare bounds through his days with a twitching curiosity. The ever patient Big Nutbrown Hare lovingly leads his son on journeys of discovery about the joys that nature holds.

Inquisitive Little Field Mouse and mischievous Little Grey Squirrel often join them on adventures and not too far away they might encounter clever Little Redwood Fox or Little White Owl with her tall tales of mystery and magic. Together they explore the meadows, forests and streams, playing, laughing and discovering the wonder that the world holds.

The Best of Country Calendar 2015

Once again our crews have travelled throughout the country to bring you these wonderful tales of some of the amazing, interesting and dedicated people who live here. Through the stories in this collection we meet a Hamilton family whose business specialises in hand-made gouda cheese – the secrets of which were learnt from monks in a monastery on the Dutch-Belgian border fifty years earlier; a couple who swapped the corporate life in Sydney to set up a free- range pig farm in Horowhenua and a pilot who has returned to farming after 26 years as a helicopter pilot. We visit Te Kuta Station, a sheep and beef farm in a remote spot called French Pass; an 11 year old boy chasing his dream to be one of the country’s best young cattle handlers and an alpaca stud on Banks Peninsula where they are breeding the rare black suri – valued for their long silky fleece.

From a Northland dairy farmer who also writes a weekly magazine column, to a Southland couple who collect and identify heritage apple trees, this season of Country Calendar really does cover the length and breadth of New Zealand.
