Flying Teddy is a timeless classic children’s story in the genre of Winnie the Pooh but with a Kiwi flavour.

Delightful illustrations are by a local New Zealand artist, Jess Twohill.

This is an ideal read-along book for young readers aged 3 to 6, and it will enchant them with every reading.

About the Author

An award-winning published author, this is June Dooney’s first children’s book. June initially relayed Tommy Teddy’s story to her five-year-old niece Pippa 40 years ago. Although long in incubation, its message of accepting and loving oneself is still relevant for today’s young readers.

Along with a BA in English and BD from London University, June also has a postgraduate diploma in journalism and, for several years, hosted a radio interview program on Radio Rhema. She lives in Tauranga.
