About Nanas with No Manners

Three nanas, who lived in the City of Seas, NEVER said ‘thank you’ and NEVER said ‘please’…

And when these nanas go away on holiday and find that the resort doesn’t serve their favourite chocolate nachos with cheese … uh-oh! You’d better look out, as rude nanas become hangry nanas!

But will they find their manners when they find themselves in trouble…?

An irreverent and outrageously funny picture book from talented author, writer, TV producer and former breakfast radio host Justin Brown, writing as Justin Christopher. It is great fun to read aloud and a not-so-gentle reminder of the importance of using manners! Minky Stapleton has created three marvellously rude characters that children will find hilarious!

Justin Brown is an author, writer, TV producer and MC. In addition to a number of books for adults, he has also written a number of middle-grade novels as Justin Christopher, including Stowaway Daze, Freakout Island, The Underers and My Best Worst Year. His books encourage themes of friendship, family, and bad jokes. Justin lives in Auckland with his family, including Cooper the dog.

Minky Stapleton is a multi-faceted illustrator with a range of styles, all with a heavy dash of dark humour. She spent her formative years as an award-winning Art Director and later Creative Director in Johannesburg, working in some of South Africa’s best advertising agencies. After many years of corporate life, she threw it all in to follow her first love, illustration. She now resides in Auckland.
