About Faelan the Fearless

Faelan the Fearless (Faelan the Wolf, Book #3) is a fast-paced, action-packed story of bravery, friendship and unlikely allegiances, couched in Juliette MacIver’s trademark humour. This is the stunning final book in the trilogy!

In Faelan the Fearless, Pack Leader Bardolph Lupus dies and his son Weylin is set to take the Stone. Faelan is fretting about how he is going to fulfil his promise to his chicken friend Avian to help get her flock of a thousand chickens through wolf territory into the safety of the plateau in the Lockjaws. Meanwhile, Faelan’s arch-enemy, the white wolf Varg, is dead-set on stopping anyone from crossing the boundary that he patrols.

Faelan and Avian’s attempt to free the chickens is fraught with danger. And Faelan makes some surprising discoveries about his family along the way … knowledge that might interfere with Weylin’s plans to be Pack Leader.

Juliette MacIver has written a brilliant junior fiction novel trilogy, utilising her lyrical way with words in a gripping adventure story that will keep readers enthralled. In the tradition of Mrs Frisby and the Rats of Nimh and Watership Down.
