The 100th anniversary of Gallipolli is an incredibly significant celebration for New Zealanders, and their ANZAC comrades. To honour the contribution made by the courageous soldiers, medics and their families, there are a wide number of celebrations planned this weekend.
Think about others you know who may like to attend an event but may need help. Take along younger family members and impress upon them the importance of Anzac Day and all that it means. Use it as a time to reminisce and trace family history. New Zealand and Austrlia would not be the countries they are today, if not for the Anzacs.

Read more about the soldier's experiences here. The accounts are humbling and worth reading to remember what those brave people went through for us all.
