About The 2023 British and Irish Film Festival

The 2023 British and Irish Film Festival showcases cinematic icons in an incredible selection of highly anticipated films… screening nationwide from 19th October with tickets on-sale now.

There’s plenty of star power in the lineup, with heavy hitters such as Anthony Hopkins, Michael Caine, Helen Mirren, Olivia Colman, Timothy Spall and Liam Neeson.

A number of fascinating documentaries compliment the 2023 Festival selection. Don’t miss a deep dive on one of Britain’s greatest landscape artists in “Eric Ravilious Drawn to War”. “Mad About the Boy: The Noel Coward Story” offers an exploration of the playwright’s expansive career, and “Stewart” is an immersive journey into the world of Formula 1 legend Jackie Stewart.

There’s no lack of drama in the lineup, with the latest from Ken Loach, “The Old Oak”, and the Samuel Beckett biopic “Dance First”.

* There are five films excluded from the admit 2/double passes: One Life/opening night events, Great Escaper, The Critic, Wicked Little Letters & In The Land of Saint & Sinners.

    1. You must be a GrownUps member and receive our newsletter to be eligible to win.
    2. Competition closes on the 11th October 2023, winners will be notified via email by 12th October 2023.
    3. It is your responsibility to ensure you correctly enter a New Zealand postal address where the prize can be couriered. GrownUps will not take responsibility for prizes sent to incorrect addresses.
    4. Winners are drawn at random by the GrownUps administration team.
    5. GrownUps employees and family are not eligible to enter.
    6. By entering the giveaway, you approve for GrownUps to use your name on social media as winner of the competition.
    7. One entry per household.
    8. Prize is non transferrable.
    9. You must reside in New Zealand – the prize will only be posted within New Zealand.
    10. You must be over 50 years of age to enter, check your details are correct in your membership dashboard.
    11. The double passes are a generic double ticket where the winners can choose one film to go to excluding the 5 * films above. Passes will be posted to the winners.
