About the Author

Dean O’Brien, aka Deano Yipadee, is a best-selling children’s musician, author and producer who was born and raised in Mosgiel, New Zealand, and now lives in Queensland, Australia. Deano has topped the UK Children’s Music Bestsellers Charts on numerous occasions and has been a headline act on the Kidz Field at the Glastonbury Music Festival. His Nee Naw books consistently figure in the Top 10 bestsellers list. He enjoys touring and performing to kids throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Bruce Potter is a multi-international award-winning illustrator of over 130 books as well as being an author and publisher. He has worked with some of NZ’s best-known authors such as Margaret Mahy, Joy Cowley, Tessa Duder, Craig Smith and Witi Ihimaera. He has toured across New Zealand, performing his illustration and author show over 600 times to over 350 schools. This is Bruce’s fourth time illustrating for the beloved Nee Naw series.
