About Not Only Fred Dagg

Fred Dagg wasn’t just a bloke in gumboots – he was a national treasure who brought laughter to the land and smiles to generations of Kiwis.  Now, his life story is hitting the big screen in a new documentary NOT ONLY FRED DAGG.

This heartfelt film celebrates the wit, warmth and legacy of John Clarke, the man behind Fred Dagg.  It’s a tribute to our humour, Kiwi resilience, and the joy of seeing ourselves reflected on screen.

    1. To be eligible to enter, you must be a GrownUps member and subscribed to our newsletter.

    2. The competition closes on 10th December 2025. Winners will be notified by email no later than 11th December 2025.

    3. It is your responsibility to provide a correct New Zealand postal address for prize delivery. GrownUps is not responsible for prizes sent to incorrect addresses.

    4. Winners will be drawn at random by the GrownUps administration team.

    5. Employees of GrownUps and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

    6. Only one entry per household is permitted.

    7. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other goods or services.

    8. You must be a New Zealand resident, and the prize must be redeemed within New Zealand.
