Author Note:

‘I hope No One Will Know will give you the same kind of wild ride as my debut, The Girl in the Mirror, but this time around, the heroine is extra special to me, because she is based on my own beloved grandmother. Eve’s difficult childhood and her determination to do better for her baby are themes that are very meaningful for me.

I loved writing this book, especially the lavish parties in sumptuous mansions, the voyage to a windswept island with a desolate lighthouse, and the disaster which leads to a life-or-death moment in the cold, dark ocean. I loved writing about rich people behaving badly. But most of all, I loved writing Eve’s journey. I hope you love her too.’

About the Author:

Rose Carlyle is a lawyer and adventurer with first-class honours degrees in law and creative writing. She has crewed on scientific yachting expeditions to Antarctic islands and sailed her own yacht from Thailand to South Africa. She currently lives in New Zealand with her three children.

Her debut novel, The Girl in the Mirror, was an instant number-one bestseller in New Zealand, was translated into eight languages, and has been optioned for the screen. No One Will Know is Rose’s second novel.
