This is the second picture book from the author of My Cat Can See Ghosts – a delightful story to read aloud with bright and colourful illustrations.

Emily Joe is an emerging new talent in the field of children’s publishing. German rights of My Cat Can See Ghosts have been sold and the book is a finalist in the 2022 New Zealand Book Awards for Children and Young Adult in three categories.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR AND ILLUSTRATOR

Emily Joe is an author, art director and animal lover based in Auckland.

For Emily, inspiration is never very far away, sometimes even in her own backyard or lounge room, thanks to the crazy antics of her two chickens and two cats, who make sure there’s rarely a dull moment in the Joe household.

    4. Winners are drawn at random by the GrownUps administration team.
    5. GrownUps employees and family are not eligible to enter.
    6. By entering the giveaway, you approve for GrownUps to use your name on social media as winner of the competition.
    7. One entry per person.
    8. Prize is non transferrable.
    9. You must reside in New Zealand – the prize will only be posted within New Zealand.
