About Honu and Blue’s Sealife Clues
A companion to the popular Pu and Ru’s Bird Beak Clues
Honu and Blue love to explore.
They’re taking a trip along the seashore,
seeking out creatures that live in the sea
and following clues. What might they be?
Author Jez Smith takes readers on a rhyming, riddle-filled journey in and around the seashore, as Honu and Blue challenge us to identify some of Aotearoa’s remarkable marine animals.
Illustrated with the wonderful art of well-known wildlife illustrator, Ned Barraud.
The book closes with a spread of practical, child-friendly conservation tips, encouraging families to protect our oceans and sea life.
Kiwi kids will readily identify with the beach action and get caught up in the drama of a seawall being washed away!
