During WWII the Nazis were enforcing anti Semetic rules and regulations. They wanted people to walk around with sandwich boards which read, JEWS OUT, GERMANS IN. They did not get any applicants for some time until finally a old Jewish gentleman applied for the job. The Nazis were astounded.
‘You are a Jew, and you want to do this?’
‘Well, I am old. I have no income, and can’t afford the rent. A job’s a job, so I may as well.’
So he got the job, and walked off with this sandwich board. After a while the Nazis decided to see how he was getting on, but they could not find him anywhere.
Eventually, they located him walking around the local cemetery, wearing his sign, JEWS OUT, GERMANS IN.
