Get enough sleep: sleep is critical for good brain health. Not getting enough sleep will mean you will have trouble focusing during the day. Establish a nightly ritual or habit that includes winding down. Ensure your bedroom is cool, dark and quiet and avoid alcohol, cigarettes and heavy meals close to bedtime.

Get Active. Regular physical exercise is one of the best things you can do for your brain as it helps eliminate mental fog and stress. Working out gets your blood flowing and increases oxygen levels which improves your body’s ability to perform, physically and mentally. Exercises that focus on breathing and relaxation like yoga and tai chi can also help. Consider meditation which can also help with stress levels.

Life is hectic and a result of this we can experience poor sleep and nutrition, which leads to trouble focusing and brain fog. Keeping a clear mind can lead to a greater quality of life and more happiness. There are several things we can do to help ourselves, all of which revolve around a healthier lifestyle.
