No-Bake Peanut Butter-Oat Slice

A quick, no-fuss slice to whip up over the school holidays or for afternoon tea. You might like to add a sprinkle of raisins or dried cranberries through the oat mixture (before chilling) or a yoghurt drizzle (mix plain yoghurt with icing sugar).

  1. In a small saucepan, combine peanut butter and honey. Cook, gently stirring, over medium-low heat until melted. Remove from heat.
  2. Stir oats through the peanut butter and honey mixture then press into a greased 22cm square baking or slice tray. Cool to room temperature then cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
