Ingredients:
- 2 tins of tomatoes
- 2 1/2 cups of chicken stock
- 1 clove of garlic minced
- 1 white onion chopped
- 450g bacon (optional)
- 1 tbs of sweet basil
- 1 tbs of black pepper
- 1 tbs of rosemary
- 1 1/2 cups of cheese
Method:
Cook onion, garlic, bacon, sweet basil, rosemary, black pepper in olive oil in a saucepan. Cook until well done.
Add tomatoes, chicken broth and Roman cheese. Cook for about 1 hour.
Use as a base for lasagne, meatballs, enchaladas or a ragu.
