Life, According to Will Rogers

Will Rogers was an American cowboy, actor, comedian, columnist and social commentator. In the 1930’s, he had a dedicated following and was known as a leading political wit and was, for a time, the highest paid Hollywood movie star.

Rogers was passionate about aviation, and provided Americans with first-hand accounts of his world travels, although sadly he died in a plane crash in 1935.

His commentary style saw him to poke fun at gangsters, prohibition, politicians, the government and other controversial topics without offending anyone. One if his most famous quotes was, “I don’t make jokes. I just watch the government and report the facts.”
