Video: How to recycle straws into travel packs

Use these straw travel packs when you’re travelling, they’ll save you room in your luggage (more shopping or duty-free) and you won’t need to buy the expensive travel size items.

You will need:
– Used straws
– Pliers
– Lighter
– Spices
– Matches
– Cotton ball
– Strike paper

Method:
Spices & Toiletries
Wash your used straw. Clamp one end of the plier down and melt the end with the lighter. Hold it for a few extra seconds for the melted plastic to solidify.
Put in any spices, soap, toothpaste, or makeup into the straw and pinch the end of the straw where the spices or liquid ends, then cut.
Repeat step 1 and secure the other end.

Fire Kit
Wash your used straw. Clamp one end of the plier down and melt the end with the lighter. Hold it for a few extra seconds for the melted plastic to solidify.
Measure the match to the straw and cut a little longer then the match.
Roll up a tiny piece of cotton ball, and cut a small piece of striker sheet.
Place the cotton ball, 2 matches, and the striker sheet, and clamp the end with the plier, then melt the end with the lighter.
The straw will keep everything inside completely dry!

Bag Clip
Take 2 straws and cut one straw down the middle.
Take the non-cut straw and wrap the bag over the straw.
Slide the cut straw over the bag and the straw and slip it through until it overlaps.
It will stay secure.
