The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra

See one of the greatest American Big Bands from the 1940’s, The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, direct from the USA, performing in a concert spectacular featuring 25 musicians, singers and dancers. 

Tommy Dorsey is recognised as one of the major band leaders of the Swing era and this concert will feature his great original arrangements like …. I’m Getting Sentimental Over You… Opus No.1… Bugle Call Rag and Song of India. 

The concert also features an all-hits lineup of the other great American Big Band Musicians and Composers… Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, Harry James and Woody Herman – over 2 hours re-living all of the great swing songs of 75 years ago.

An added attraction will be the sensational Swing dance group The Hollywood Jive Dancers. Special guest singer from the USA Bryan Anthony serenades with vintage Sinatra classics – This Love of Mine, I’ll Never Smile Again and Blue Skies, and also from the USA, The Swing Sisters compliment the show performing the greatest hits of The Andrews Sisters.
