Internal Organs
Small intestine: our largest internal organ, at 4x longer than the average height of an average adult!
~9 metres (30 feet): the distance that our heart would squirt blood based on the pressure it exerts. It's job of pumping blood throughout our bodies fast and efficiently and that pressure required, means that the strong contractions of the heart and thick walls of the ventricles, are able to push blood around our bodies.
Razorblades: Please don't test this theory, however, evidently stomach acid could dissolve razorblades! Hydrochloric acid, which is found in your stomach, is not only good at dissolving takeaway food but can eat through many types of metals.
~100,000 kms: the estimated length of blood vessels in our body (the distance around the earth is only 40,000 kms!)
3-4 days: is how regularly you get a new stomach lining. Due to the strong digestive acids, the mucus-like cells lining the walls of the stomach would dissolve if they weren’t constantly replaced. Hence why ulcers can be so painful as they take a toll on your stomach lining.
