Bravo, Pornography!

Porn is one of those concepts that evokes immediate reactions, pro or con, sometimes sending otherwise seemingly sane people into screaming fits. In my view, Porn, as with everything else sexual, is in itself neither good nor bad. When one is addicted to Porn to the exclusion of the ability to have a relationship, or uses is to hurt others, obviously it’s not one of my top ten picks for your road to health. However, when used mutually by two consulting adults, it can help heat up your sex life and keep that oh so elusive long-term intimacy alive.

Adult Porn has changed dramatically in the last decades. When Larry Flynt of Hustler renown and fight for Freedom of Speech fame, was gunned down and confined to a wheelchair for life, he helped shape the place of Porn in America forever. While Porn remains unacceptable to many, and there are places where it doesn’t belong, Couples Porn is finally coming into it’s own.

For years, women barely tolerated male pornography, although some would sneak a look at Playboy or Penthouse. Men, more than women, tend to have a very strong visual component to their sexual arousal and they are more likely to seek visual pornography to get turned on. Women like plots with characters, fantasy themes and storylines. They are wired that way. Pornography that combines both visual erotica and a storyline can be a wonderful sex enhancer for both men and women. Female erotic literature has become a booming business, and it is one more example of how women, who are generally the less linear of the two sexes, prefer process to the end goal. I know women who get lost in erotica books, find their fingers walking south between their legs, or reaching for the vibrator near their bed.

Grab some of the latest couple's pornography that appeals to both women and men. Mutually stimulating pornography agreed to by both parties, either in the privacy of one's own bedroom, watching DVDs or via an adult channel in a hotel rendezvous is perfect for a pick me up sexy treat. What a great way to spice up your love life!! In fact, why not try it all year round?

How to get your partner interested:

1. Talk about it in advance, preferably over a romantic dinner and definitely out of the bedroom.

2. Leave a small CD or love note next to your partner’s bed.

3. Dress up in a fantasy outfit you think your partner will adore.

4. Take the initiative and test the waters. Foreplay first is welcome here.

5. Create a sexy atmosphere, dim the lights: use candles, sexy scents, and creams and massage oils.

6. Make sure the kids are not around and that both of you are awake.

7. Sudden surprises can backfire, so in this case, slow and easy may win the race.
