Leaving a Gift in your Will

students in libraryA gift in your will to Massey University can make a lasting contribution for generations to come. Massey is at the forefront of new developments and research, and provides over 40 academic programmes to 35,000 students each year.

Every day, our staff, students and alumni are shaping the future of our nation and making a transformational impact in areas such as veterinary medicine, agriculture, food technology, creative arts, education and business.

The Massey University Foundation is a charitable entity established to foster philanthropy and administrate gifts to the university. Our vision is to create an endowment fund that will exist in perpetuity to ensure Massey is self-reliant and can continue to develop the next generation of thinkers and problem-solvers.

In 2015, the Massey Foundation distributed $407,000 via 147 scholarships to Massey students – many of these only possible from bequests.

A gift in your will could also go towards meaningful research or projects you are passionate about. A targeted gift can enable you to identify a specific area of your choice in which to advance the work being undertaken at Massey. Some of our donors prefer to give to the building of contemporary facilities such as the new Wildbase hospital or the refurbishment of the Refectory building.
